Aims
The aim of this course is to provide ratings with essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to work safely and effectively on board Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) tankers. The course ensures that participants are familiar with LNG cargo operations, associated hazards, safety practices, and emergency response measures in accordance with international maritime standards.
This training supports compliance with the STCW Convention 1978, as amended, specifically Chapter V, Section B-V/1, paragraph 2, and promotes onboard safety, environmental protection, and operational efficiency.
