
AIMS:
The aim of this course is to provide shipboard personnel with the knowledge and skills required to effectively investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses onboard ships. The course enables participants to identify immediate, underlying, and root causes of incidents, apply relevant maritime regulations and industry guidelines, conduct systematic investigations, prepare accurate reports, and recommend corrective and preventive measures to enhance safety performance and prevent recurrence.
