AIMS:

The Maritime English IMO Model Course 3.17 strengthen communication skills for seafarers, aligning with international maritime standards. It equips learners with essential language tools for both deck and engine room operations. The course includes modules on General and Specialized Maritime English, SMCP, correspondence, and documentation. It also covers communication for navigation, emergencies, and maritime law, while promoting cultural awareness on-board.
